Sequim RC Aeronauts
The Sequim RC Aeronauts is chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) as Club No. 1766. The club promotes the sport of radio controlled aircraft modeling, provides instruction in radio controlled aircraft flying and actively contributes to the community through support of charitable organizations.
Membership requires pilot’s to obtain or have a current AMA card (available on-line at www.modelaircraft.org) and to pass a safety check flight with a club officer or instructor before solo flying at the field.

Flying is open at the Sequim Valley Airport! Take a look at this letter of agreement (LOA) with the airport for the rules to operate under. We now have three stands to work from but you are welcome bring your own custom stand or workbench. We appreciate the privilege of flying at the airport, so please be respectful of the area, park 20 feet off of the pavement and take your trash away. For gas engine flyers note that a catch cup for the overflow is required. Even though our field is at an active airport it is still a noise sensitive area so please fly neighborly, and keep gas powered 3d maneuvering to a minimum
Fun and engaging Flying radio controlled aircraft requires a heightened sense of alertness and awareness, i.e., complete concentration. You will feel a tremendous intangible reward whenever you fly, fixed wing, helicopters, multi-rotor or gliders. | Challenging The sport of radio controlled flying is adrenalizing as it requires a certain level of skill and t’s mentally challenging. You’ll learn about aerodynamics, engineering concepts and the basic principles of flight. At times while you are flying! | For Everyone Age doesn't matter in r/c. From youngsters to mature club members all share the same thrill of flying. It is a great family activity and Instructors are available to help you get started. |
